Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath issued the following statement on yesterday’s earthquake in Haiti:

“My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti. I have no doubt that all Ontarians share my sentiment. I also know that Canadian governments at all levels will do all they can to assist the Haitian people with the immediate rescue effort.

"I urge Ontarians who have been as moved as I have been by the magnitude of this tragedy to consider making a donation to a relief agency of their choosing.”
