HORWATH SPEAKS OUT FOR FROZEN OUT FIRSTONTARIO WORKERS

MPP Andrea Horwath brought the plight of FirstOntario Credit Union workers to the floor of the Ontario Legislature and attended rallies to try to get movement on their call for job and income security.

In the story below, when the strike was in its 56th day, Andrea blamed the McGuinty government for leaving 70 unionized workers, mostly women, out in the cold and prolonging their strike.
